As the Communications Assistant for Brookens Library at the University of Illinois Springfield, marketing fell under my jurisdiction. The chalkboard wall is situated as a focal point on the library's first floor, as you see it soon as you enter the library and it catches your eye from the computer stations. Therefore, a significant part of the job is plot and execute chalk drawings themed around important library events or features.
